Thomas Ervin Leonard, Jr.

Thomas Ervin Leonard Jr., 58, of Meadowview Road, died Friday, April 26, 2013, at Hinkle Hospice House following an extended illness. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Revs. Bradley Testerman, Kenneth Deal and Johnny Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at Davidson Funeral Home prior to the service and other times at the home on Meadowview Road. Mr. Leonard was born June 21, 1954, in Davidson County, to Thomas Ervin Leonard Sr. and Virgie “Sallie” Wilson Leonard. He was a former glass fabricator with PPG and an avid Nascar fan with his favorite driver as Dale Earnhardt. He also enjoyed spending time with his canine friend, Buddy. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Pressley; and brother, Donald Ray Leonard. Surviving are his loving wife, Debra Frizzell Leonard of the home; son, Jason Leonard and wife Ashley of Lexington; the light of his life, his granddaughter, Peyton Leonard; his mother of Lexington; brother, Ronald Leonard of Lexington; and sisters, Rhonda Staten and Janice Campfield, both of Lexington.
