Thomas “Tommy” McCrary, age 55, of Vienna Dozier Road, Pfafftown passed away Friday at Forsyth Medical Center after a four year courageous battle of Pancreatic Cancer.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Terry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday night.
Tommy was born in Davidson County, August 17, 1957 to David Dermont and Barbara Everhart McCrary. He was a former employee of Stanley Furniture and member of Smith Grove Baptist Church. He loved NASCAR and traveling especially to the Southwest.
Surviving are; his wife Cynthia Elswick McCrary of the home; parents, Dermont and Barbara McCrary of Lexington; sons, Jeff McCrary (Michelle) and Derek McCrary (Sonya) all of Linwood; grandchildren, Madyson, Jake, Lindsay and Landon McCrary all of Linwood; step-sons, Cliff Adams and Jeremy Adams (fiancee’-Rosa Glasscock) all of Pfafftown; sister, Lisa McCrary Embler (Dale) of Lexington; many special family and friends.
