Thomas Sutton

Thomas Lee Sutton, 44, of Deerfield Court, passed away Thursday evening, Sept. 5, 2013, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston-Salem. A funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Silver Valley Baptist Church by the Rev. Michael Greer. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of a sister, 2230 City Lake Road. Thomas was born in El Paso, Texas, on Dec. 1, 1968, to the Rev. Clifford Ray and Barbara Craven Sutton. He was a self-employed tile and flooring installer and attended St. Andrews Church. Surviving are his wife, Emma Hamrick Sutton of the home; daughter Amanda Grace Sutton of the home; son Clifford Lee Sutton of the home; parents of Lexington; and sisters Penny Sutton Everhart (Stan) and Kristie Sutton Goins (Darrell), all of Lexington, and Tracy Sutton Kilpatrick (David) of Clemmons. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Thomas Sutton Cancer Fund, 265 Eastchester Drive, 133-305, High Point, NC 27262.
