Thurman Alan Barringer

Thurman Alan Barringer, age 59, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at his home.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Friday October 11, 2019 at Open Door Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the service.

Alan was born in Johnson County, MO, on April 11, 1960 to Harold Henry Barringer, Sr. and Alta Hilliard Barringer. He was a self-employed carpenter and was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold Henry “Speed” Barringer, Jr.

Surviving are his daughters, Leslie Lanier, Brianna Hedblad (Ryan), Lea Barringer; step-daughter, Brittney Baker; long-term girlfriend, Della Phillips; grandchildren, Harper Lanier, Carson and Olivia Hedblad, Skyler Poole and Phillip Perdue.
