Tim Eugene Nantz

Timothy Eugene Nantz , 52, of Griffith Street, Thomasville died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in High Point Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 17, 2011 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church just prior to the service and other times at the home of the Mother on Brown Street. Mr. Nantz was born November 14, 1958 in Iredell County to James Preston Nantz and Carolyn Davis Dickens. He was employed with PPG Industries. Some of his passions were Nature, Scuba Diving and photography. He was extremely patriotic and loved the American flag. Tim’s generous spirit lives on through the donation of his organs. His father, James Preston Nantz preceded him in death. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Clyde Dickens of Lexington; four sisters, Linda Litaker and husband, Mark of Charlotte; Julie Haughton and husband, Allen of Batavia, Ohio; Diana Young and husband, Lee of Salisbury, NC; Denise Ackley and husband, Tim of Easton, PA; eleven loving nieces and nephews; a Special friend, Sonia Yancey and his loving Dog, Scooby.
