Timothy Keith Koontz

Timothy Keith Koontz, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Hospice of Davidson County.

A graveside service will be held 11 am Monday, April 17, 2023, at Beulah United Church of Christ Cemetery with Pastor Jason Koontz officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel.

Mr. Koontz was born September 11, 1951, in Davidson County, to Hoyle Keith Koontz Jr. and Pelma Sue Essick Koontz. He loved riding horses and motorcycles in his free time. In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by one brother, Grant Koontz.

Left to cherish his memory is one son, Brian Koontz (Patty) of Winston Salem; one daughter, Ashley Driggers of South Carolina; two sisters, Robbi Russell (Steve) of New London, and Mindi Harris (Donnie Hall) of Albemarle; six grandchildren, Andrew, Patrick, Nicholas, Savannah, Dakota, and Kelsey; and two great-grandchildren.
