Timothy Joe Louya

Mr. Timothy Joe Louya, 67, formerly of Lexington, died Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Hinkle Hospice Home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, at Davidson Funeral Chapel, Lexington, with Rev. Billy Louya officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.

He was born on August 11, 1958, in Davidson County, to the late Jack Bryce and Elizabeth Joann Bruff Louya.

Mr. Louya loved watching T.V. and collected countless movies through the years. He enjoyed fixing up old cars and fishing with his son.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two siblings, Greg Louya and Teresa Louya.

Survivors include his sons, Travis Louya (Kristi) of Denton and Joey Louya of Lexington; a brother, Jackie Louya; a sister, Donna Swicegood (Eddie); and several nieces and nephews.
