Timothy Edward Stamey

Timothy Edward Stamey, 68, of Lexington passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, July 18 ^th at Tyro Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Foster officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00pm at the church before the service.

Timothy was born in Davidson County on March 10, 1951 to Herman Stamey and Helen Stanford Stamey.  He was a member of the AMVETS and the Moose Lodge.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Allen Stamey.

Surviving are his loving wife, Deborah Ruth Robbins Stamey, of the home; son, Christopher Humphreys (Christy); daughter, Kendall Humphreys; brother, Dan Stamey; sister, Gloria Stamey; and 3 grandchildren, Claire Humphreys, Maddox Teer and Thea Teer.
