Timothy "Tim" Ellis Cecil

Timothy “Tim” Ellis Cecil age 68 of Ed Rickard Road, Lexington passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon Friday, March 18, 2016 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church conducted by Father Ambrose Akinwande. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church Rosary Hall from 11:00 am until the funeral hour. Tim was born in Guilford County, March 2, 1948 to Foyell Ellis Cecil and Elizabeth Grenga Cecil. He was a retired insurance agent with Western Southern Life Insurance Company and after retirement was a carrier for the Lexington Dispatch for 12 years. He also served in the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents. Tim is survived by his son, Matthew Cecil and wife Jody of Conover; daughter, Morgan Cecil of Kure Beach, NC; grandchildren, Ella, Wade, Hayden and Reid; sister, Teresa Kines and husband Beauford of Lexington; brother, David Cecil and wife Frankie of Lexington and special friend, Carolyn Carlile of Churchland.
