Timothy "Tim" John Craven

Timothy “Tim” John Craven, 59, of Old Thomasville Road, died Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Forsyth Medical Center from a serious illness of three months. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, 2400 Mt. Hope Church Road, Whitsett, NC 27377, with the Rev. Lloyd Spencer officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. He was born March 3, 1957, and was the son of the Rev. Raymond and Joan Craven. Mr. Craven graduated from Southeast High School and was an upholsterer by trade. He was preceded in death by his father; and his wife, Dianne Gregory Craven. Surviving are his mother; his sister, Rae C. O’Connell and husband Danny of High Point. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Mt. Hope UCC to their general fund.
