Timothy Gene White

Timothy Gene White, 62, of Lexington, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Tim proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. He was employed at First Presbyterian Church in Lexington where he gained several brothers and sisters in Christ and dear friends. Everyone that knew Tim loved him. Tim was a dedicated Christian and a wonderful father. He was known for his outstanding work ethic and heart of gold. Surviving are his three sons, Christian James White 28, Timothy Gene White Jr. 25, and Nicholas Matthew White 21; and their mother. He is also survived by a sister, Debbie White Johnson of Thomasville; a nephew Brent Johnson of Archdale; also his daughter-in-law, Marisa Gray White, wife of Timothy Gene White Jr. The family will receive guests at a memorial service on Sunday January 3 at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Lexington. Immediately following there will be a military service in the courtyard of the church. The family asks that flowers be sent to the church and any donations made in his memory be made to the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund of First Presbyterian Church in Lexington, NC.
