Tina Louise Abernathy

Tina Louise Sherer Abernathy, age 58, peacefully passed away on December 22, 2023, at Hinkle Hospice House. She was born on April 27, 1965, in Pennsylvania, to the late John Sherer, Jr. and Kay Sherer.

Tina dedicated her career as an Assistant Manager in the cafeteria of the Lexington City School System, touching the lives of many through her service and dedication.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, John Arthur Sherer, Jr. and Kay Lorriane Harman Sherer. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, James Abernathy, of the home; sons, Antonio Leggio and Junior Leggio (Shannon); daughter, Jvontay Leggio; brother, Randy Sherer (Tina); sisters, Lorri Finley (Robert) and Sherry Moll; and her five cherished grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tina's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

At this time, there will be no services held. The dedicated staff at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel is honored to be serving the Abernathy family during this challenging time.
