Tina Marie Harkness

Tina Marie Harkness, age 55 of Goldenrod Lane, Lexington passed away Monday at Lexington Medical Center.   A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Christian Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Harvey and Rev. Billy Louya.   Tina was born in Davie County May 3, 1958. She was a member of Christian Baptist Church and a former employee of GDX in Salisbury. She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Farrah.   Surviving are her husband, William “Bill” Harkness of the home; daughter, Jennifer Cummings (John) of Chester, VT; son, Adam Garner (Jessica)of Lexington; step-son, William Donald Harkness (Elizabeth) of Asheboro, step-daughters, Kathryn Clark (Lawrence) and Renee Hayden (Rick) both of Asheboro; 7 grandchildren, Kevin, Tyler, Hunter, Alyssa, Grayden, Davis and Jackson; 1 great-grandchild, Madison; sister, Sue Yountz Godbey of Advance; brothers, Tony and Emory Yountz of Asheboro, Robert Eller of Winston Salem.   In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to the Pastor’s Pantry, PO Box 2051, Lexington, NC  27293   Online Condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
