Tolvie Coppley Forshee

Tolvie Irene Coppley Forshee, 95, of Cullen Court, Lexington, died Thursday April 4, 2019 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday April 7, 2019, at Sheets Memorial Baptist Church, where she was member, with Rev. Frankie Matthews conducting services

Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 2:45pm Sunday April 7, 2019 at the church.

Mrs. Forshee was born October 24, 1923 in Davidson County to Aicher Charlie Coppley and Freda  Marie Owens Coppley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Edward Forshee; a granddaughter Jeana Norman and her husband Ronnie; five sisters, Olena Byerly, Martha Nance, Zeola Jarrett, Bernice Floyd and Maggie Hughes; six brothers, Calvin Coppley, Depolen Coppley, William Coppley, Homer Coppley, Leon Coppley and Steve Coppley.

Surviving is her daughter Myra Forshee of the home; one sister, Bonnie Hedrick (Colen);a grandson Mark Epley (Buffy) of Lexington; three sister-in-laws, Linda Coppley, Polly Coppley and Lucy Leonard; 4 great-grandchildren, Brittney N. Curry (Tavis), Kyle Smith, Tyler Norman and Mariah Norman.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that memorials be directed to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way Lexington Nc 27292.
