Tommy Henry Sowers
January 17, 1946 — April 9, 2023
Thomas Henry Sowers of Welcome, 77, passed away April 9, 2023, at his home. He was born January 17, 1946, in Davidson County to the late Willie Melvin and Florence Sink Sowers.
Thomas retired from Shaw Industries. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.
Mr. Sowers is survived by a sister, Betty Sowers Rogers of Winston-Salem, a nephew, Jeff Long (Wendy) of Winston-Salem, and a niece, Amy Hinson (Tommy) of Norwood, North Carolina and two great-nephews, Dustin Long and Luke Hinson.
Per Tommy’s wishes, there will be no funeral.
Memorials may be made to Davidson County Animal Shelter at 490 Glendale Road # 5828, Lexington, North Carolina 27292.
