Tommy M. Swing, age 75 of Linda Place, Lexington passed away Sunday at Hinkle Hospice House. Memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday (March 17, 2010) at Reeds Baptist Church where he was a member, with Rev. Dave Williams, Rev. Steve Ackerman and Rev. John Gwaltney officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 until 4:00 pm Wednesday, prior to the service.
Tommy was born in Davidson County, July 27, 1934 to Shuford Monroe Swing and Daisy Everhart Swing. He was retired owner/operator of Swing TV Repair, a former employee of Lexington City Fire Department and a long time volunteer with Holly Grove Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother Roy Swing and sister in law, Sandra Swing.
Surviving are; wife Linda Perrell Swing of the home; one daughter, Dee Dee Busko and husband Paul of Huntersville; one son, Scott Swing and wife Tracy of Lexington; one grandson, Noah Swing; his mother, Daisy Swing of Lexington; one brother, Benny Swing of Lexington; sister in law, Jeanette Swing of Lexington; brother in law, Charles Perrell and wife Joyce of Lexington.
