Tommy Joe Watford

Tommy Joe Watford, 60, of Nodaway Lane, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at his home. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Holly Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Daniel M. Downing. Mr. Watford was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Davidson County to Jesse Odell Watford and Mary Briles Watford. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam, superintendent at JS Clark Co. of Mt. Airy, and a member of the Associated General Contractors of America as a master commercial carpenter. Surviving are his wife, Kaye Oliver Watford of the home; three daughters, Julie Myers and her husband, Chris, of Woodleaf, Jamie Theophanides of Lexington and Stacy Sanford and her husband, Brian, of Denton; two brothers, Jesse Watford and his wife, Sherri, and Eddie Watford and his wife, Pam, all of Thomasville; and three grandchildren, Tucker Myers, Tyler Myers and Tinsleigh Myers.
