Tonia Layne Walser

Tonia Younts Walser, loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend passed away peacefully at her home early Wednesday morning, May 8, 2024.

Tonia, age 61, was born in Forsyth County on March 31, 1963, to Steve and Mary Younts. Tonia was a faithful member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed her work at Union Grove Christian School and Inmar Inc. Tonia enjoyed attending church and spending time with her daughters, family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Etta Younts, husband Michael Wayne Walser, and sister Tina Younts Simms.

Tonia is survived by her two precious daughters, Brooke Bryson and husband Jake, and Taylor Ramsey and husband Jon; her father and stepmother, Steve, and Debra Younts; and her two sisters, Angie Wagner and husband Kent, and Stephanie Bryan and husband Teddy. She also has many loving nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held in the sanctuary of Union Grove Baptist Church on Friday, May 10th at 11am with graveside burial to follow. Family will receive guests following the burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons International and Union Grove Baptist Church missions.

Davidson Funeral Home of Lexington will be serving the family during this time.
