Tony Wayne Humphrey

Tony Wayne Humphrey, 63, of Lexington passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Hedrick’s Grove Reformed United Church of Christ with the Rev. William Sowers officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church following the service.

Tony was born on July 28, 1955 in Davidson County to William ‘Bill’ Humphrey and Agnes Parks Humphrey.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.  Tony was trustee of his church.  He loved camping, the CB Radio, and helping others. His biggest love was for his children and grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survived by his loving wife, Regina Young Humphrey, of the home; daughters, Jennifer Royall (Michael) and Lauren Ivey (Christopher); stepson, Chad Coppley (Angela); brother, Eddie Humphrey (Mendy); and 7 grandchildren, Bradley Moon, Zackery Royall, Natalee Royall, Olivia Ivey, Harper Ivey, Hayden Coppley and Kylee Coppley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hedricks Grove Reformed UCC, 5687 E. Old Hwy 64, Lexington, NC 27292.
