Towers Dodd

Frank Towers Dodd, 78, of Maegeo Drive, died Wednesday, March 18 at Hinkle Hospice House. A inurnment service at the Grace Episcopal Church Columbarium will be announced at a later date. Mr. Dodd was born April 22, 1941 in Rome, GA. He was a 1963 graduate of Vanderbilt University and a veteran of the US Navy. He retired from sales in the building materials industry. An active member of Grace Episcopal Church, Mr. Dodd served as an usher and Sunday School teacher. His parents, Frank Jefferson Dodd and Alice Towers Dodd Glasscock, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Sally Barry Dodd, of the home; his son, Preston Dodd and wife, Katie, of San Francisco, CA; his daughter, Allison Dodd Briggs and husband, Kyle, of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, J.P. and Will Dodd, and Kayleigh and Noah Briggs. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 419 S. Main Street, Lexington NC 27292.
