Trisha Lee Edwards, 43, of Eastview Drive in Lexington, passed away Thursday December 9, 2021 at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

Ms. Edwards was born September 11, 1978 in McCracken County Kentucky to David Lee Edwards and Sandra Joanne Edwards. She was employed at DDCC as Lead Accounts Receivable Specialist. In her spare time, Trisha enjoyed going for hikes, enjoyed time with her pets, and spending time with her friends and their children, Ashton, Maddison, Dalton, McKensie, Caroline, Isaiah, and Josiah. Also, making memories with her “adopted sons” Josh, Exar, Owen, and Ashton.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 Friday December 17, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home  Lexington Chapel.

A Celebration of Life service will be held  Saturday December 18, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Rich Fork Baptist Church in the sanctuary with Pastor Michael Bowers officiating.

The family will also receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday December 21, 2021 at Brookport Funeral Home in Illinois.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday December 22, 2021 at Mount Sterling Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her father. Surviving is her mother; son, Xavier Edwards of the home; brother, Tony Edwards (Cindy) of Illinois; sister, Tina Harris (Steve) of Kentucky; two nephews, John David and William of Kentucky.
