Venkasammy Adinarain

Venkasammy Adinarain also known as Bayee of Lexington, North Carolina peacefully passed away at the age 70 years old, on February 6th, 2026. Born April 22nd, 1955 to parents Adinarain Appadu and Phulmonie Appadu in Kilcoy, East Berbice-Corentyne, Guyana. He lived an amazing life fearlessly, filled with joy and laughter. Venkasammy met his beloved late wife Nandani Adinarain and began a life together where they created four amazing children, unfortunately their child Ryan passed away as an infant. He worked hard to make a beautiful life for his family. Venkasammy’s life is marked by the unwavering love for his family and his joyous spirit, if there was music playing you would see him busting a move without a doubt. His presence and his sense of humor will surely be missed. 

Venkasammy is survived by his loving kids, Ven and wife Naseema, Baruch and wife Dolly, Verbena and husband Ravi. His adored grandchildren who will carry on his legacy, Ashley, Ashton, Neya, Addison, Austin, Ianna, and Arjuna. His partner Dhandai Seeram. His siblings Rachael, Ena, David, Ellen, Derick, Silervereen, and Silvee. 

A viewing will be held at Davidson Funeral home in Lexington, North Carolina on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026 from 5-8PM. Followed by the funeral service on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 10am. 

As we bid a farewell to Venkasammy we take solace knowing he’s at peace reunited with his late wife Nandani whom he loved wholeheartedly. Though he is no longer with us, Venkasammy’s spirit and memories we shared will live on in our hearts.
