Veny Garren

Mrs. Ninetus Lovenia (Veny) Garren, formerly of Lexington, died Tuesday, May 21 in Ruskin, Florida. A funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday, June 4 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by Pastor Mark Hopkins. A burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Garren was born February 24, 1937 in Forsyth County to Blair Jackson Mills and Letha Taylor Mills. She retired from Link-Taylor and was a former member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Her husband, Grady Olander Garren, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Tracy Garren (Linda) of Richmond, VA and Troy Garren of Lexington; her daughter, Toni Garren (Jeff) of Lithia, FL; her brother, Rocky Mills (Fairye) of Churchland; her sister, Wanda Cutting (Gene) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Jaclyn Normile, Shelly Garren, Dana Garren, Emilee Alberts, Olivia Garren, and Jada Garren; her great-grandchildren, Carter Kinsey, Ryan Jolynn Normile, Zoey Normile, Nick Garren, Joyah Hardy, Stella Kinsey, Abby Grace Normile ,and Noah Zimmerman
