Vera Lee Hartman Barber Mcgugan

Vera Lee Hartman Barber McGugan age 85 of Winston Salem passed away Thursday, July 28, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after a brief illness. A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Sunday July 31, 2011 at Rose Cemetery of Mocksville with Rev. Chris Byrne officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Vera was born November 22, 1925 in Rowan County to Robert Lee Hartman and Sarah Kimel Hartman. She was employed by Duke Power Co. of Salisbury and a member of First Baptist Church of Mocksville. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands; Thomas Delmar Barber and Vance Graham McGugan, her brothers; Robert Lee Hartman Jr. and Reid Kimel Hartman, her sister; Hazel Hartman Hart. Surviving are her daughters Keena Arrowood and husband, Brad of Midway and Jann Barber of Maryland, her grandchildren; Graham Arrowood and Spencer Arrowood both of Midway.
