Victor Kiger

Victor Eugene Kiger, 51, of Spruce Street, went home to be with his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Monday night, April 6, 2009. A memorial service will be held for Victor on Tuesday, April 14, at 6 p.m. at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church conducted by the Revs. Lewis Johns, David Shaffer and Clyde Akers. Victor was born Oct. 13, 1957, in Davidson County to Clarence Eugene Kiger and Janette Louya Kiger. Victor was a member of Coggins Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents John and Lelia Kiger and Murphy and Lillie Louya. Surviving are his mother of the home; one sister, Sherry Lynn Currie and her husband, Bill, of Lexington; two brothers, Chris Kiger and his wife, Terri, of Lexington and Britt Kiger and his fiancé, Kelly Gray, both of Kernersville; four nieces, Laura Currie Fritts and her husband, Justin; Tara Kiger and her fiancé, Benji Smith, Keisha Kiger Day and her husband, Paul, and Kimberly Kiger LeBeau and her husband, Timmy; one nephew, Maddox Gray, of Kernersville, and a great-nephew, Jackson Fritts. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. A private graveside service will be held Thursday.
