Victor Hernandez Martinez, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington. A funeral service and burial will take place in El Salvador, where he was born and where his life will be honored among family and loved ones.

Mr. Martinez was born on March 7, 1930, in El Salvador, to Ines Hernandez and Victorina Martinez. He was a loving father and grandfather whose life was marked by devotion to his family. His legacy lives on through the many generations he leaves behind, and his memory will be cherished forevermore.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving children: Marta Hernandez, Maria Digna Hernandez, Zoila DelCid, Dolores Hernandez, Carmelo Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez, Maria Isabel Hernandez, Jose Manuel Hernandez, and Luz Marina Hernandez; forty grandchildren; and fifty-six great-grandchildren.

La familia recibirá a los amigos de 5:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. el sábado 7 de febrero de 2026, en Davidson Funeral Home en Lexington. El servicio funerario y el sepelio se llevarán a cabo en El Salvador, su tierra natal, donde su vida será honrada junto a familiares y seres queridos.

El Sr. Martínez nació el 7 de marzo de 1930, en El Salvador, hijo de Ines Hernández y Victorina Martínez. Fue un padre y abuelo amoroso, cuya vida estuvo dedicada a su familia. Su legado vive en las generaciones que deja atrás, y su recuerdo será atesorado por siempre.
