Victoria Carrick

Victoria Wombaugh Carrick, 78, formerly of NC Hwy 8, Lexington, died Monday, November 20, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was a beloved Daughter, Mom, and Nana and a devoted Christian. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. They filled her life with so much love. A funeral service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, November 22 at the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Mrs. Carrick was born November 21, 1944 in Davidson County to Oscar Leroy Wombaugh and Rachel Koontz Wombaugh Williams. She retired from Lexington Home Brands. She was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church for many years and later attended Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Her husband, Bobby Lee Carrick, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Angelia Anderson (Danny) of Welcome; her son, Jeffrey Carrick of Winston-Salem; and her grandchildren, Caroline Cotingnola (Joey), Cole Anderson (fiancée, Skylar Riddle) and Carlee Anderson.
