Vinar Mae Tysinger Hedrick

Vianer Mae Tysinger Hedrick, 92, of Brian Center, formerly of Rockcrusher Road, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at the center. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cotton Grove United Methodist Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Ed Armfield. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hedrick was born in Davidson County on Aug. 4, 1914, to Mose Tysinger and Troy Davis Tysinger. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Butler Hedrick, on Jan. 13, 1992; five sisters, Maggie Hedrick, Pauline Tysinger, Nancy Gribble, Fannie Lily and Flora Wood; and four brothers, James "Ed" Tysinger, Manuel Tysinger, Mozelle Tysinger and Johnny Tysinger. Surviving are one son, Roby Hedrick and his wife, Doris, of Welcome; five daughters, Claytie Crotts, Wilma Leonard and her husband, Henry, Edna Berrier and her husband, Boyd, Shirley Leffew and her husband, John, and Angela Hedrick, all of Lexington; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and other times at their respective homes.
