Vincent James Tosco Jr.

Vincent James Tosco Jr., 78, of Northside Drive, Lexington, died Sunday August 18, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday August 21, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Lexington, where he was a member, with Dr. Ray Howell III officiating services. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service. Mr. Tosco was born June 5, 1935 in Somerset County New Jersey to Vincent James Tosco Sr. and Rose Marie Kostreba Tosco. Before his retirement he was employed with O.M. Scotts and Sons as a Senior Tech Sales Rep. He was a member of the Piedmont Hand Gun Association and the North Carolina Golf Course Superintendent Association. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Gloria Tosco of the home; two sons, V. James III and wife Robin of Greensboro, Gary Lee Tosco and wife Pamela of Mocksville; one sister, Susan Nickolopoulos of Florida, five grandchildren, Aleigha Waters and husband Jason, Anne Marie Tosco, Emily Tosco and Vincent J.
