Virgil Lee Wyatt, 88, of Virgil Wyatt Road in Lexington, died Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at his home.  A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Chapel with Dr. Torpy and Minister Tony Forrest officiating services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.  Mr. Wyatt was born November 3, 1928, in Davie County, to John Frank Wyatt and Gurla Lois Foster Wyatt. He was Owner and operator of Wyatt Installation Company, a member of Fork Baptist Church and a member of Lexington Memorial Masonic Lodge 472.  Surviving are his wife, Christine Wyatt of the home; one brother, Billy Wyatt and wife Joan of Mocksville; Eleven nieces and nephews, Kim W. Myers (Donnie) of Winston Salem, Rusty Wyatt (Lerisa) of Advance, Larry Wilson (Susie) of Mocksville, Lynne Allen (Bill) of Cleveland, Roy Forrest(Joy) of Galax Virginia, Tony Forrest (Janet) of Mocksville, NC, Norman Forrest of Mocksville, Brenda Essic (Neal) of Mocksville, Chip Essic ( Judith) of Clemmons, John Matthews (Debbie) of East Bend, and Steve Barneycastle of Mocksville; a special caregiver, Linda Bivens of Lexington; a sister-in-law, Irene Matthews of East Bend; his special dog Boots and a cat , Garfield.   Memorial may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292
