Virginia Josephine Clark Harrison

Virginia Josephine Clark Everette Sr. Younts Harrison, 90, of Lexington passed away September 5, 2023, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Mt Carmel Freewill Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Darrell Cartrette officiating. The family will see friends one hour before the service at the church, and other times at the home of the son’s home, 932 Lingle Farm Rd., Lexington, NC 27295.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Harrison was born June 1, 1933, in Stuart, Virginia, to L. Moyer Clark and Lillie Bell Cassaday Clark. Virginia was a devoted member of the church, church choir, Sunday School teacher, and ladies auxiliary for many years, was retired from Parkdale Mills, loved to collect baby dolls and babysitting. Her passion was her faith, church, family, and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands Archie Everette Sr., Floyd Lee Younts, and Wilbert Free Harrison, a son, Randy Everette, brother, Cecil Clark, sisters, Annie Ruth Racheal, Lucille Phillips, and Carleen Blake.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Archie Everette Jr. and wife Lisa, daughter, Brenda Walker and Daughter in law, Cindy Everette all of Lexington, also surviving are nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church, 107 Arrington Drive, Lexington, NC 27295.
