Virginia Hill

May 15, 1928 — June 7, 2020

Virginia Dare Everhart Conrad Hill, 92, of Lexington, died Sunday, June 07, at Alston Brook Nursing Center.

A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park, by the Revs. Elizabeth Horton, Paula Wells, and Brian Alexander.

The family will receive friends at their respective homes.

Mrs. Hill was born May 15, 1928 in Davidson County to Lacy C. and Thelma Moore Everhart.  She retired from Binnings Products and was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ, where she sang in the choir and was a member of Circle Ruth, the Women’s Guild, and the Friendship Sunday school class.  Her husbands, Raymond D. Conrad, and Odis “Bunny” Hill, her brother, John Raymond Everhart, her sisters, Betty Essick, and Doris Coppley, her step-son, Jerry Hill, and her grandson, Erik Hunt, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Carl Ray Conrad and wife, Jan, of Myrtle Beach, SC; her daughters, Cathy Waitman and husband, Steve, and Carol Conrad and partner, Joe Wallace, both of Lexington; her step-daughter, Donna Taylor and husband, Warren, of Lexington; her sister, Lacy Carol Belcher of Lexington; her sisters-in-law, Ramona Everhart and Edna Gray Snyder both of Winston Salem, her grandson, Mark Waitman and wife, Missina; her great granddaughter, Kaylee Waitman, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The family would like to thank everyone at Alston Brook Nursing Home for the love and care they gave to our mother for the past nine and a half years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292.
