Virginia Essick Manns

Virginia Essick Manns, 70, of Lexington, passed away Monday August 30, 2021 at her son’s home in Thomasville.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at North Lexington Baptist Church with Rev. Gavin Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Thursday at the church.

Virginia was born March 18, 1951 in Davidson County to Ella Essick. Virginia enjoyed sewing in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Wayne Manns; and one brother, Eddie Essick.

Surviving is her son Terry Wayne Whitman (Amanda) of Thomasville; one brother, Wayne Essick (Brenda); one sister, Mae McQueen; and three grandchildren, Haven, Christian, and Billy.
