Virginia Hedrick Myers

Virginia Hedrick Myers, age 98, of Old Linwood Road, Lexington passed away Sunday morning November 17, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House.   A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Arbor Lutheran Church where she was a member by Rev. Paul Harder. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 Pm Sunday evening.   Virginia was born in Davidson County on June 3, 1921 to Harvey Lee Hedrick and Bertie Kepley Hedrick. She was a retired employee of Lexington Mail Order, a life time member of DAV and VFW Post 3074 Women’ Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.C. Myers; a son Larry Myers sisters, Geneva Peterson and Stella Anderson; a brother, Calvin Hedrick.   Surviving are her daughter, Jenny Myers Crotts of Lexington; 2 grandchildren, Michael Felts and Terry Myers: amd 3 great-grandchildren.   The famiy would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Hospice Hinkle House.   Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292.
