Virginia Keller Swicegood

Virginia Keller Swicegood age 87 of Winston Salem passed away Tuesday morning on July 30, 2013 at The Oaks of Winston Salem. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2295 Union Grove Road, Lexington, NC, conducted by Rev. Ken Harris. There will be no formal visitation however anyone can pay respects from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm on Thursday. Virginia was born January 8, 1926 in Iredell County to Vance Elisher Keller and Clara Louis Brown Keller. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband John Wyatt Swicegood. Surviving are her son: Jerry Wayne Swicegood ( Phyllis), daughter’s; Judy Swicegood Bedsaul (Ray) and Brenda Allcorn, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to donor’s choice. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
