Von Charles Knote, age 59 of Lexington, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 10, 2017 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Hepler officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday night and at other times at the home. Von was born December 5, 1957 to William Earl Knote and Jean Helen McDonald Knote. He was a loving and caring person; he never met a stranger and was one you could count on to be a friend. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Wanda Smith Knote of the home; daughter, Karry Knote of Lexington; son, Eric Knote of Chapel Hill; step-sons, Daniel Marion, Corey Marion and Kaleb Bundy all of Lexington; sister, Beth Knote of Clarksville, KY; brothers, Todd Knote (Tammy) and Drew Knote (Annette) all of Lexington.
