W. Arnold Reynolds

W. Arnold Reynolds, 97, of Piedmont Crossing Retirement Home, Thomasville died Friday afternoon at the home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 30 at Grace Episcopal Church Chapel with Rev. Tom King officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Middle Patent Cemetery in Bedford, NY. Mr. Reynolds was born January 24, 1910 in Westchester County, NY to Walter Arnold Reynolds and Margaret Graff Reynolds. He was a 1930 Phi Beta Kappa Graduate of New York University and retired from The Bronx Savings Bank. He was preceded in death by his first wife Lorraine Tice Reynolds and his second wife Dorothy Lamb Strassburger. Mr. Reynolds is survived by two sons; Walter A. “Terry” Reynolds III and wife, Sandra, of Lexington, and Richard E. Reynolds and wife, Janet, of Clinton, CT; a daughter Marjory R. Rode and husband, John, of Huntersville; a step-son Raymond Strassburger and wife, Carol, of Oakton, VA; a step-daughter, Lynn S. Brady and husband, Arthur, of Briar Cliff Manor, NY; twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
