Wade Thomas Snider

Wade Thomas Snider, age 80 of Northside Drive in Lexington, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 21 ^st at First Baptist Church in Denton with Rev. Shane Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Denton.  The family will visit with friends after the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Snider was born on July 11, 1940 in Davidson County to Arthur Roosevelt Snider and Nettie Josephine Davis Snider. He was owner and operator of Snider Surveying Services for 51 years, licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina. He retired from The State of North Carolina DOT Engineering Department. Mr. Snider was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Warren Thomas Snider in 1987.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Nancy Hendren Snider, of the home; daughters Melody Sharpe (Bryan), Aimee Tennant (Kyle) both of Lexington; brothers, Ralph Snider (Shirley) of Eden, NC, Dewey Snider, of Denton; sisters, Helen Lax (Doug) of Summerville, SC, Gladys Carmichael (Jerry) of Mebane, NC; 6 grandchildren, Daniel, Noah, Olivia and Jordan Sharpe and Kayla and Michael Tennant.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rich Fork Baptist Church Wheelchair Ramp Ministry, 3993 Old US Hwy 29, Thomasville, NC 27360.
