Wallace Bob "WB" Butler Jr., 44, of Lanier Drive, Lexington, (Welcome community), died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, in Welcome after sustaining injuries in an automobile accident.
Mr. Butler was born in Forsyth County on Sept. 30, 1961, to Dr. Wallace Bob Butler Sr. and Judith Ann Zimmerman "Judy" Butler. He was an employee of Hill & Sons Landscaping. He attended Western Carolina University and Elon University.
In addition to his parents of Welcome, surviving are his brother, Paul Edward Butler, of Welcome; sisters Lisa Butler Kepley of Lexington, Stacey Butler Davis of Greensboro and Lydia Butler Hill and husband Warren of Midway; nephews Matthew Kepley, Bradley Kepley, Seth Hill and Noah Hill; and nieces Kristi Kepley, Jessica Davis, Andrea Davis, Taylor Butler and Savannah Hill.
The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at Bethesda United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev Doug Hochmuth officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Davidson Funeral Home - Hickory Tree Chapel, and other times at the home on Lanier Drive.
