Walter Eric Kivett

Walter Eric Kivett age 77 of Lexington passed away Friday March 3, 2023. A gathering of friends will be 6:30 to 7:30 pm Tuesday March7, 2023 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel.  A private burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensboro.

Mr. Kivett was born December 14, 1945 in Guilford County to the late Rigdon Kivett and Thelma King Kivett . He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dohn Kivett. He honorably served his country during the Vietnam War serving 4 years of active duty in The US Air Force and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1134. He was a big fan of trains, planes and fishing. He was also a nationwide truck Driver last working with Sink Tower.

Surviving are his daughters, Teresa Kivett and Lynn Petrovia. A nephew, David Kivett (Tanya) and their children, Casey and Grayson Kivett. A niece, Karen Kivett Jackson and her children, Connor Cardwell and Kaley Alegre.

The family would like to extend special thanks to all the family and friends that have supported him during this last year as well as Trellis Supportive Care.
