Walter Winn

Mr. Walter Garnett Winn, Jr, 79, of Hunters Pointe, Lexington, died Saturday, February 20 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Winn was born December 1, 1941, in Wilmington, NC to Walter Garnett Winn Sr, and Pamela Bradham Winn. He retired from North State Communications as Director of Marketing. He is survived by his wife, Linda Irvin Winn of the home; his son, Walter Welborn Winn of Atlanta, GA; his daughter, Katie Winn of King, NC; three grandchildren, Kathleen Winn, Gee Ramey, and Hannah Easterly; and a brother and two sisters.
