Wanda Mae Covington Cranfill

Wanda Mae Covington Cranfill, 71, of Avante of Roanoke, formerly of The Brian Center, Lexington, died Saturday, June 29, at the nursing home in Roanoke. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday July 5, at Forest Hill Memorial Park by Rev. Darrell Cox. There will be no public visitation. Wanda was born in Rockingham County on April 22, 1942 to Edward Pressley Covington and Willie Mae Heavener Covington. She was last employed in the textile industry. She was preceded in death by her parents. Wanda is survived by: husband, Ronald Cranfill of Lexington; daughter, Cindy McDonald of Lexington; sister, Nancy Faye Byerly, and granddaughter, Sierra Harron.
