Wanda Faye Eames Dillon passed from this life and entered her new life on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Wanda was born on November 3, 1959 in Martinsville, VA to the late James and Jackie Eames. She was a resident of Davidson County and the beloved wife of Philip Dillon for over 25 years. She will forever be remembered by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Tosha and Scott Porter, her treasured grandchildren, Harley, Zachary, and Journey Porter, brother, James Eames, Jr., sister, Dianne Eames Dhonnhok, in-laws Lee and Beverly Dillon, along with countless other family and friends whom were blessed to know her. Wanda loved caring for animals (especially dogs), gardening, baking, and most of all spending time with her family.
Wanda touched the lives of many people with her generosity and willingness to give unselfishly.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM with a memorial service to celebrate her life directly following the visitation. Services will be held at Davidson Funeral Home, 858 Hickory Tree Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27127. The family request that all donations be sent to the Forsyth Humane Society, 61 Miller Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27104-4211 and American Red Cross, 8 Franklin Street, Lexington, NC 27292.
