Wanda Duffey Jones

Wanda Carol Duffey Jones, 64, of Craver Dr., Lexington passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 in Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after a ten year illness and onset of the flu. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Luck officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 pm prior to the service. Mrs. Jones was born December 21, 1951 in Davidson County to Jesse “Bill” Duffey and Doris Coleman Duffey. She was a retired Owner/Operator of Wanda’s Corner and a member of Second United Church of Christ. Her Father preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband, Harold Dean Jones of the home; a son, John Lewis Freeman of the home; a daughter, Tiffany F. Alexander (Wesley) of Lexington; her mother of Lexington; two brothers, Charles Duffey (Jilda) of High Rock Lake, Robert Duffey (Jocana) of Linwood and several great nieces nephews and cousins.
