Wanda Gail Smith Knote

Wanda Gail Smith Knote, 54, of Lanier Dr., Lexington passed away on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 at her home.  A Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Hepler officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Due to Covid restrictions, the family has requested that anyone attending the service to please wear a  mask.  The body will lie in state on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020  from 12:00 to 5:00 pm.

Mrs. Knote was born December 14, 1965 in Davidson County to Leroy Smith, Sr. and Mary Holbrook Smith.  She was a member of Leonard Road Baptist Church and the love of her life was her three boys.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Von Charles Knote, her parents and a brother, Larry Dale Smith.

Surviving are her three sons, Daniel Marion (Staci), Corey Marion (Hayley), Kaleb Bundy all of Lexington; a step-son, Eric Knote of Chapel Hill; a step-daughter, Karry Pack of Lexington; a brother, Leroy Smith, Jr. of Lexington; three sister, Rebecca Walker, Lynn Smith, Cynthia Smith all of Lexington and a step grand-daughter, Caroline Pack

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Medi Home Health and Hospice, 315 S. Talbert Blvd., Lexington, NC 27292

The family will receive friends and food at the home of Wanda's sister, Lynn Smith, at 380 Allen Drive, Lexington, NC 27295.
