Wanda Stanley Law

Wanda Abigail Stanley Law, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Grayson Creek. She was born on June 16, 1951, in Yadkin County to the late Rufus and Bertha Stanley.

Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend. She dedicated her life to her family, cherishing every moment spent with them. Wanda was of strong Baptist faith and a proud member of Eden Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Daryl Law; her brother, Noah Stanley; and her sisters, Lucille Burgess, Erlene Sizemore, Frances Sneed, and Glenda Mills.

Those left to treasure her memory include her daughter, Gina Barker and husband Will; her sister, Libby Hiatt; two grandchildren, Jake Barker and Abby Barker; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Wanda loved bright colors, it is a request of the family that you wear a color of your choice in celebration of Wanda

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Grayson Creek and Mountain Valley Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mountain Valley Hospice 129 Veterans Drive Pilot Mountain, NC 27041.
