Warren Bryce Bulla, of Lexington, better known as Bryce, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. Bryce was born on October 11, 1940, to Warren Stuart Bulla and Edith Bean Bulla. Warren's journey through life was marked by hard work, friendship, and an enjoyment to help those around him.

Bryce, a native of Lexington, grew up as one of four boys. He attended Central Davidson High School, beginning a life characterized by hard work, service and helping others. After his school years, Warren joined the National Guard. He recalled many events during his time of service during the 1960’s. His commitment to providing for himself and others continued when he began his professional career.

Bryce dedicated over thirty years to PPG in Lexington, starting as a janitor before advancing to the role of electrician by his retirement. His colleagues knew him as a friend. His commitment and work ethic were recognized and appreciated by all who knew him. Bryce was hardworking and always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends.

Bryce’s interests extended beyond his professional life. He had a strong interest in outer space, NASA and science fiction and enjoyed watching Star Trek on television, always fascinated by the mysteries of the cosmos. He found simple pleasures in life. He cherished the warmth of a fire in his wood stove, and he also enjoyed chopping the wood for his fires. Bryce never enjoyed traveling too far or being gone too long and found himself to be the happiest at home.

Along with his parents, Bryce is preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Bulla and Dennis Bulla

Bryce is survived by his sons, David Bulla and Randy Bulla; daughter, Melissa Bulla; Stepchildren, Amy Bulla and April Bulla; brother, Larry Bulla; close grandchildren, Maddi Bulla, Austin Cowan, Ethan Andersoon, Savana Arnold, five other grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by former wives, Roberta Kinney Echard and Patricia Rogers.

Services for Bryce will begin with a visitation for family and friends at 1:30pm-2:30pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington with a graveside service to follow at 3:00pm at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lexington.
