Wayne Phillip Mcguinn

Wayne Phillip McGuinn, age 54 of Hamil Street, Lexington passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and Pastor Bud Powell, Saturday (May 1, 2010) at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday (May 5, 2010) at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Bud Powell officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Wednesday at the church, prior to the graveside service. Wayne was born in Davidson County, December 7, 1955 to Hilliard James McGuinn and Kathleen Gilbert McGuinn. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, January 2, 2006. Surviving are his mother, Kathleen Gilbert McGuinn of the home; two brothers, Ricky McGuinn and wife Brenda and Randy McGuinn and wife Dawn all of Lexington; he was the proud uncle of four special nieces, Jenna Auman and husband Dustin, Heather, Ashlin and Faith Anna McGuinn all of Lexington.
