Wayne Starbuck

Wayne Jackson Starbuck, 68, of Owens Road, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at his home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, with Rev. Myra Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Mr. Starbuck was born July 22, 1939, in Davidson County, to Oliver James Starbuck and Beatrice Tesh Starbuck. He was retired from Henry Link Furniture Company and enjoyed his work with the Barbeque Center over the years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James Edward Starbuck; and a sister, Bernice Leonard. Surviving are a son, Rev. Tim Starbuck and wife, Beth Ann; 5 grandchildren, Caleb, Zoe, Kelby, Seth and Tru, all of Robbinsville, NC and brother Ronnie Starbuck of Lexington The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the home on Owens Road.
