Weldon "Dub" Everhart

Weldon “Dub” J. Everhart, 93, of Pine Ridge Road in Lexington, died Tuesday March 20, 2018 at the NC Veterans Home in Salisbury.   A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 23, 2018 at Forest Hill Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Josh Sheffield with military graveside rites.  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.   Mr. Everhart was born June 30, 1924 in Davidson County to John Stanley Everhart and Julie Leonard Everhart.  He proudly served in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW Post 3074.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Annie Berrier Everhart and 13 siblings.   Surviving is a son, Danny Everhart of Lexington; a daughter, Linda Veres (Joe) of Lexington; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
